About us
The history of Antica Pasticceria Milano
Founded in 1963 by Vittore Anessi, Antica Pasticceria Milano is a symbol of passion and dedication. Born as a small artisanal workshop in the historic center of Gavirate, it was soon transformed into a modern pastry shop where the delicacies that made it famous worldwide, the Brutti e Buoni, are still produced today.

After an injury ended his football career, Vittore Anessi dedicated himself to the art of pastry-making, a passion he had cultivated since he was young. In the 1960s, he took over a pastry shop from two elderly sisters and a few years later, with the aim of expanding and consolidating, he started the construction of the current headquarters in Viale Verbano with his brother. The works were rapid and intense, culminating in the creation of an underground artisanal laboratory. So don’t worry if you happened to pass by the pastry shop and didn’t notice the laboratory, because it’s there and it’s right beneath you.
Our Guiding Principles
